NCC CHAYOTH

GHSS Chayoth enrolls 50 cadets every year(33boys and 17 girls). Conducts different types of camps. The students appear as NCC Cadets(JD,JW) for two years. After attending the annual training camp cadets could appear for 'A'-Certificate examination.They gets different scholarships and awards. Grace marks are awarded for every Cadets who secure more than 70% attendance in 1st&2nd year NCC parades.

                 The NCC unit of GHSS chayoth celebrated Sardhar Vallabhai Patel's birth anniversary as "RASHTRIYA EKATHA DIVAS" (National Unity Day) on 31'st October 2014.The cadets conducted a rally from the school to the nearest town Chayom Bazar. The rally had placards on "National Unity" C/O Shajan P.P and Sub.Mohansingh led the rally.

                 After the rally all were assembled in the hall and, in the presence of the Head Master, Sri. Dominic M.A, a pledge was taken by the cadets.

       Today 15/8/15 here at ghss chayoth ncc cadets had conducted  a Independence  Day parade  sri TV Prakashan (principal ghss chayoth) had hoist the national flag and started the parade
